33 and hopeful. I am a self taught artist from North Carolina. After living a quasi monastic lifestyle for a number of years – I met Hannah in 1999. We have 2 amazing and insightful children, Iris and Roan.
My artwork mainly consists of acrylic paints on wood or canvas, but has evolved over the last couple of years into wood burning techniques and transfer applications. I have become somewhat enthralled by repetition as I continue to experiment with transfers, linoleum prints and silk screens.
The subject matter of my artwork is widely varied and often consists of (but not limited to) old souls, ghosts, tagged animals, bears, humming birds, burning houses, attempts of communication, flora, love and frivolous fighting.
My other interests are architecture, extreme scrapbooking, competitive activities and playing music with the band I am in called BULLSHIP. I am also a participant with the musical project SWEET IRENE and am currently working on a solo musical endeavour (with a little help from my friends) called CINCO.
